Experience the wonder and excitement as Father Christmas makes his spectacular arrival by boat into Wells harbor! This enchanting festival kicks off the festive season with dazzling celebrations throughout the town.

Festival Highlights

• Witness the magical arrival of Father Christmas by boat into the harbor
• Join the lantern parade through Staithe Street culminating in a quayside display
• Be there for the switching on of Christmas lights throughout town and harbor
• Enjoy live music and street entertainment throughout the day
• Browse the festive market featuring artisan gifts and local produce
• Savor delicious food and mulled wine from various stalls
• Take the little ones to Santa's Grotto at the Maltings (tickets available in advance)
• Join in with joyous carol singing to get into the Christmas spirit
• End the day with a spectacular fireworks display over the marshes after dark

Weekend Activities

Make a weekend of it! The festivities extend with craft stalls and a Christmas tree festival at the Congregational Hall running Friday through Sunday (21st–23rd November).
