Tickets are required and must be pre-booked online. Standard tickets include the safari drive-through. The Santa Train, Longleat House and Safari Park require separate booking if not included in your ticket. There is a Member Exclusive Evening on 07-11-2025 (3pm-7:30pm) which does not include the safari drive-through or Santa Train. Carer tickets are free with proof of disability. Safari bus tickets are available for £9 per person (3+ years).

Celebrate British Icons with Wallace & Gromit and Friends!

Step into a world of wonder this winter as Longleat presents the UK's most spectacular lantern festival! Opening on 8th November 2025 and running through 11th January 2026, this magical experience transforms the historic Longleat estate into a dazzling wonderland of light and color.

Event Highlights:

  • Awe-inspiring lantern displays celebrating beloved British Icons
  • Special Wallace & Gromit themed illuminations
  • Enchanted Christmas Tree Show
  • Amazing animal attractions including Koala Creek and Jungle Cruise
  • Adventure Castle, Rockin' Rhino, and the challenging Hedge Maze

  • Time: Lanterns illuminate around 4:30pm
  • Last safari entry: 2:00pm
  • Animal Adventure closes from: 4:00pm
  • Main Square attractions close from: 3:30pm

Experience the magic as darkness falls and hundreds of stunning lanterns illuminate the grounds! For the best experience with smaller crowds, we recommend visiting Monday through Thursday. As this is primarily an outdoor event, don't forget to dress warmly!
