Experience the Spectacular Hastings Bonfire Night 2025!

Saturday, 18th October 2025 - Mark your calendars for the most dazzling spectacle on the Sussex coast!

Join us for the historic Hastings Bonfire Night, featuring Sussex's longest single torchlit procession in a breathtaking celebration of fire and light commemorating both the Battle of Hastings and the Gunpowder Plot of 1605!

Event Timeline:

  • 7:15 PM - Torchlit procession begins at White Rock/The America Ground (sea end of Robertson Street)
  • 7:15 PM - 9:00 PM - Experience the magical procession with drums, flares, and flaming torches
  • 9:00 PM - Grand finale firework display lights up the beach

Procession Route:

The spectacular parade travels along the seafront to Marine Parade, up All Saints Street, down the High Street, and finally to the bonfire site opposite Pelham Crescent, where you'll witness the impressive bonfire and burning of an effigy!
