Hastings Bonfire Night Spectacular - 18th October 2025

Join us for a dazzling celebration of fire and history at the annual Hastings Bonfire Night!

Step back in time and experience the magic of one of Sussex's most spectacular traditions as Hastings comes alive with flames, drums and pageantry on Saturday, 18th October 2025 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

This magnificent free event features:

• A mesmerising torchlit procession with bonfire societies from across Sussex
• Drummers, flares and flaming torches creating an unforgettable atmosphere
• A dramatic route starting from the America Ground at Robertson Street, along the seafront, up through the historic Old Town and back to the beach
• A towering bonfire built on the beach opposite Pelham Crescent
• Traditional effigy burning commemorating historical events
• A spectacular fireworks display lighting up the night sky over the sea

This extraordinary celebration commemorates both the historic Battle of Hastings and the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, bringing history to vivid life in a truly unforgettable evening.
