Join us for the magical Cardigan Giant Lantern Parade - the crown jewel of Cardigan's Festival of Light 2025! Experience an enchanting evening of light, community, and celebration!

Event Timeline:

• 6:00pm: Gather at Small World Theatre to collect your lantern and fitting stick
• 6:45pm: Lantern lighting ceremony begins
• 7:00pm: Parade sets off from Pendre along Cardigan High Street
• Grand Finale: Arrive at Prince Charles Quay for a spectacular low-noise fireworks display and thrilling fire juggling performance!

What Makes This Event Special:

Be part of this breathtaking procession as hundreds of illuminated lanterns transform Cardigan into a sea of light! The parade route is fully marshaled with safety barriers to ensure a magical experience for everyone.

Warm up at the Quayside with delicious food and drinks from various stalls including Kitchen 1176. The perfect winter evening out for families and friends!

The Cardigan Giant Lantern Parade is the highlight of the Festival of Light, which includes a stunning Light Trail featuring giant lanterns and illuminated artworks throughout town from November 30th to December 20th (4pm-9pm daily).
