Danson Park Fireworks Display 2017

Brought to you by Welling Round Table, once again Danson Park will be holding a spectacular fireworks display over its beautiful lake and historic settings. The display will be choreographed to music and will last approximately 25 minutes. Make the most of the evening and enjoy the fun fair, stalls and various food and drinks refreshments available. Please be aware that there is no general onsite parking. Limited disabled parking is available to registered disabled badge holders only and must be pre-booked at a cost of £10 per car. No alcohol, personal fireworks or sparklers are permitted and will be confiscated and destroyed upon entry or within the grounds. Danson Park fireworks display is brought to the community every year by Welling Round Table with all profits going to our charitable trust which is invested in the local community for good causes. Event summary 6pm Park gates open and funfair starts 7:45pm Introduction by Mayor of Bexley 7:59pm Countdown to fireworks display 8pm Fireworks begin 8:25pm Fireworks end 9:15pm Funfair closes 9:30pm Event ends Getting to Danson Park On the evening of the event the area surrounding Danson Park will get very busy and parking can become a problem. It is recommended that public transport is used where possible to help ease traffic. Arrive by no later than 7.30pm to give yourself time to get into the park in time for the fireworks display. The four gates into Danson Park will open at 6pm. There will be no parking available in the par ground for the event.
